My Personal Style:
As a therapist, I am warm, interactive, open and nonjudgmental. I focus on you, and I want to understand you fully, for that’s the best way for me to provide good therapy treatment.

My Therapeutic Orientation:
I began my therapy education before I received my doctoral degree, training as an Art Therapist with a Gestalt and Humanistic orientation. In my graduate work, my focus was primarily Marriage and Family Therapy, with a Family Systems and Cognitive Behavioral therapy approaches. During this time, I, also, trained in the use of hypnosis. My doctoral dissertation explored the use of hypnosis as a treatment in the reduction of depression. My internship and subsequent continuing education led me into Psychodynamic and Object Relations therapy. Over the years, I have schooled myself in neurology, Meditation and Mindfulness. Most recently, I have completed training as an EMDR therapist. I combine all of these resources in providing an eclectic approach to therapy.
